Primary action: The primary action of this formula is to introduce a complex of B vitamins in their intermediate forms. This has the benefit of increased absorption and utilization each.
The common functions of all B vitamins involve increasing energy production and treating neurological conditions. They tend to be more effective when other B vitamins are present. Individually, each may also be indicated for the following:
Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) enhances energy production, specifically for the brain and is effective for Alzheimer’s, diabetes, Crohn’s disease and multiple sclerosis.
Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) regenerates glutathione and has been used specifically to treat migraine headaches, cataracts and sickle cell anemia.
Vitamin B3 (Niacin) (non-flush form) regulates blood sugar levels and lowers cholesterol and is involved with antioxidant and detoxification pathways.
Vitamin B5 (calcium pantothenate) plays a role in the production of adrenal hormones and red blood cells and the active form, pantetheine, has been shown to significantly lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) is involved in more than 60 different enzymes and in cell multiplication (used in over 100 health conditions)
Folic Acid and Vitamin B12 (dibencozide) work together as methyl donors to facilitate reactions such as the manufacture of DNA and brain neurotransmitters. Folic acid along with vitamins B6 and B12 reduce homocysteine levels. It has also been well studied and used for a number of conditions; notably, neural tube defects, atherosclerosis, depression, osteoporosis and atherosclerosis. Dibencozide is a biologically active coenzyme of vitamin B12, a derivative that is more easily absorbed and utilized by the body.
PABA assists with breaking down of protein, the formation of red blood cells and maintaining intestinal flora. It also assists the manufacture of folic acid in the intestines.
Biotin plays a beneficial role in cell growth and replication and promotes strong nails and hair and is used in the treatment of seborrhea dermatitis and diabetes.
Inositol has lipotropic properties (promotes the export of fat from the liver) and is necessary for proper nerve, brain and muscle function.
Choline Bitartrate also acts as a methyl donor and is essential for proper liver function. It also promotes levels of acetylcholine in the brain maintaining function and memory.
R-alpha-lipoic acid is a naturally occurring substance that acts as a coenzyme in energy production in cellular metabolism and functions as an ideal antioxidant. Evidence shows that R-alpha-lipoic acid delays the aging process, improves brain function and memory, stimulates immune function and supports liver health.
